EDRS’ 2nd Annual Eating Disorders Awareness Week Conference: 2008

EDRS, Center for Discovery and The Petaluma Health Care District kicked off national Eating Disorder Awareness Week (NEDAW) 2008 by sponsoring a free presentation for the families at the ANAD support group in Petaluma California.

Later that evening Buck described the Center for Discoverys’ programs, and presented on the topic of self injurious behaviors and the eating disordered client. One of the goals of EDRS Is to increase training in the field of eating disorders. Therapists, nurses, dietitians, psychiatrists, and medical personnel in attendance gained knowledge and awareness through the information Buck graciously provided pro-bono in honor of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
